Rose Marie (Manderine) Meyer, 94, lost her courageous battle with Alzheimer’s and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 7, 2018. Born April 14, 1924, in Pennsylvania to the late Emmanuel and Concetta (Rich) Manderine, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Meyer; sisters Carmel DiGiacomo, Catherine Sepich, Ann Gerber and brothers Anthony, James, Joseph, Louis, Sam and Bernard Manderine. She is survived by her sons, Don Meyer Jr., Gregg (Terri) Meyer and Jeff (Angela) Meyer in addition to her grandchildren, Sarah (Brett) Burlingame, Nicholas Meyer and Brandon Meyer, sister, Theresa Leasure and numerous nieces and nephews. A member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church, Rose devoted her heart and soul to her family, the cornerstone of her life. Her unwavering compassion and love enriched all of those with whom she came in contact. She exhibited an enduring strength, kindness, faith and zest for life that revealed a beautiful soul. Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 11 from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 12 at 10 am at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
