Ursula J. (White) Haught

Ursula J. (White) Haught, age 76, of Navarre, passed away peacefully on the evening of August 18, 2023 at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Canton to the late Joseph and Jennie (Addessi) White. Ursula was preceded in death by her brother, Dominic White, and sister, Phyllis Tuscan.

She graduated from Glenwood High School in 1965 and attended Aultman X-Ray School. Ursula was an active member of St. Clement Church at Holy Family Parish in Navarre. She held the positions of Past Vice President and Co-President of the Stark County American Legion Auxiliary Post #440 in North Industry. For over thirty-five years, Ursula served as an X-ray technician and office manager for Dr. James T. Violet in Canton.

Ursula’s hobbies included bowling in her younger years, and playing bingo in her later years. She was also well known for her cooking and baking. However, her greatest joy came from her family and her grandchildren. She took great pleasure in organizing family reunions, gathering many generations together.

Survived by her husband of 50 years, Glenn L. Haught; Ursula also leaves behind daughters Jennifer (Dustin) Wissinger and Rebecca (Shane) Viland; grandchildren Makayla (Johnny) Sheline, Brody, and Nora Wissinger; brothers Joseph (Jutta) White, Jr. and Paul (Jacqui) Bianchi; sister-in-law Adele White; and brother-in-law Joseph Tuscan.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Friday at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Clement Church at Holy Family Parish. Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Ursula’s name, may be made to St. Clement Church at Holy Family Parish. Her legacy of love and warmth will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
