William Clark Obituary

William Ray “Bill” Clark age 68, of Canton, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born on April 17, 1952 in Covington, Kentucky to Coreine Miley and the late William Clark. He graduated from GlenOak High School and Kent State University.

Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He worked hard as a construction worker most of his life. A health food enthusiast, he served at the Raisin Rack for 15 years during his “retired” years where he made many friends and loyal customers.

He was an affectionate and deeply compassionate person who thought more of others than himself. Throughout his life, he invested in quality time with his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He expected nothing in return, but gave his love freely to all who knew him. His gentle heart will be greatly missed by his loved ones. Those who knew him intimately are grateful that he now has the peace he sought on this earth.

Bill is preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years, Cynthia “Cindi” Clark. He is survived by his children, Radhika (Rod) Mullins, Anne-Marie (Matthew) Papatheodorou and Meredith (Matt) Dowds, sisters Barb (Dave) Maximovich and Michele (Joe) Byington. He is also survived by grandchildren, Eli and Tessa Mullins, Anna and Maria Papatheodorou, Joshua Dowds, and many loving aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, in laws, and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Compassionate Care Center for easing Bill’s transition from this life to eternity. Private services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

“Not many in life you find whose deeds outrun their words so far that more than what they seem they are.”
