William “Bill” F. Quinn, age 86 of Canton, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017. He was born in Canton on November 28, 1930, to the late Joseph and Anastasia (Lafferty) Quinn. Bill was a Lincoln High School graduate, and became employed by the Ford Motor Company for 30 years, where he worked as a Press Operator. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, was an avid reader, loved animals and enjoyed working in his yard. Along with his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his three brothers and five sisters Charles, Tom, Joe, Agnes, Marie, Alice, Joanne and Loretta. He is survived by his loving wife, of almost 63 years, Jennie; children Sam Quinn, Ellie (Joe) Nasser, Colleen (Joe) Boni and Carol (Vance) Brown. Also survived by grandchildren Kris (Jessica), Amanda (Jared), Matt, Adam, Aaron, Daniel, Ryan, Colleen, Brittany, Joey, Jennie, Heather, Samantha, Anthony and Maria (mother Angie); step-grandchildren Angela, Chris and Joey; and four great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at Little Flower Catholic Church on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. A Memorial Mass will begin at 10 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Leo Wehrlin as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
