Your dad was a great guy. I have a lot of fond memories of him. I'll never forget his sense of humor and his ornery smile. Countless days and nights at your house and it always seemed to end the same way- Dean falling asleep on the couch with the tv blasting. "Sup, miss me, pshhh". He was always good for a laugh and bringing you in for a hug. Deano was one of a kind. He loved his family and friends (who he treated like family) and was always there for them. I know he helped me out on more than one occasion. He will be greatly missed but I know you all will carry his memories and legacy through your stories and great times shared with him. Keep the Deanopalooza traditions alive- he wouldn't want it any other way! Sending love and my deepest sympathies and condolences to your whole family.

Sending my deepest sympathies to the Basso family. Deano was such a happy, friendly, and loving person. He was so proud of his family and especialy his kids, my closest friends. He was a father figure to all and someone to look up too. Nothing made him happier than to share in the successes of everyone around him. He was the life of the party and made an impact on everyone he met. He will be forever missed but never forgotten. May his family feel comfort that he is with God and at peace. Our most heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

Words can't express our sympathy and how our hearts go out to you and your family Lori. You are in our prayers. Hugs to each of you. Dean was such a great guy even if he liked to call me "Butch." LOL He will be forever remembered for the love and happiness he shared with all those he met.
