Angelo Forchione is resting peacefully in the arms of his loving Savior for which he has long-awaited. He was a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest as he enjoyed some of his favorite hobbies which included cooking, golfing, fixing cars, gardening and being outdoors soaking up the sun. He also enjoyed building things with his hands and could “fix anything but a broken heart” as he would often say...but that never stopped him from fixing ours. He had a love for accordion music and led, for over 30 years, the longest running wedding band in Northeast Ohio known as the Jolly Skylarks. In doing so he touched the hearts of many by being able to entertain and share his love and sense of humor with family and friends. He often said, “Love is spelled T-I-M-E” which he showed by sharing a lifetime of love with his wife Lorraine, whom he fell head over heels with 67 years ago, and by spending time with his children and grandchildren, sharing his “heart song” with each of them, in a way that only he could. We thank God for the time He gave us together and know that though present with the Lord, his love remains in our hearts forever. Always loved, never forgotten! Angelo retired from Babcock & Wilcox after a 30 year career as an engineer. An Army veteran of WW II, Angelo earned the American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with one Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal and the WW II Victory Medal. He was preceded in death by his parents Fausto and Consiglia (Spino) Forchione, daughter Rita Forchione Michaud, sister Connie Tassey, brother Edward Forchione and brother-in-law Vince Vitale. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Lorraine (Sirianni) Forchione, children Gloria (Phil) Paar, Ray, Gino (Karen), Bernadette, Allan, and Tina, eight grandchildren Amanda (Dave) Parr-Conroy, Laura (Josh) Beadling, Nick, Drew, Joey, Tony, Vinny and Anna Forchione, three great-grandchildren Glenn and Xavier Conroy, Katyn Beadling and sister Molly Vitale. Sincere appreciation goes out to Dr. Marsh, Heather, Jen, and Nicole who showed us heartfelt love and compassion from the very beginning of our journey. And to the staff of Aultman Compassionate Care Center and all those involved in providing us with comfort, care and support along the way...a heartfelt thank you! Per Angelo's request, there will be no calling hours and a private family service is being held.

Dad,
You truly are one in a million! You will ALWAYS be alive in my heart and life everywhere I go. You have been such a great friend and father. I saved notes you have written to me in the past they are filled with encouragement and how much you love me. What a gift they are then and now to me. I will miss and love you forever until I see you again in heaven there we will live forever in true peace and joy!(oh what a day it will be). I'm happy for you but hurting for us. But we know OUR HEALER is beside us helping us.

All my love forever,
Bernie Babe!
