You and Nene have been such a joy to me as an outsider to the Canella cult! Haha! It was a cultural shock for me to meet Natalie's clan and for her to meet my gaggle, and you two and your kids brought such love, acceptance and joy to me and I know to Natalie. I am sure that Natalie imprinted on you and Eve to know what a woman should be and I am the recipient of the good you two displayed for her, and I have been and am the receiver of Nene's great humor, tease, and all-round good guy! We love you and Nene and are grieved to let him go. God be with you and bless you and give you peace!

John 14:27 (NLT) “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."

When it is said Tonia and Nene were married for 62 years it also means he was part of our family for that time. Whenever I needed help my sister would say we will help you, I never remember Tonia asking him but that was understood. He helped me move to Canton, my new neighbors couldn’t believe he worked so late he would hold a lamp in one hand and varnish with another. Nene made sure the family was able to celebrate occasions together by driving his family to wherever I lived at the time. They helped move my family, we helped them move his. Nene, without a doubt, was more than a brother-in-law he was a brother. I hope everyone will pray for the Herraiz family to remember all the good in him and to heal.
