She was a lifelong member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church in Canton, and served her church for many years as a GOYA advisor and St Haralambos Hellenic Dance troupe advisor AKA “Mother Christina.” Christina devoted thousands of hours to community service, which included meals prepared for everyone in her life, family and strangers alike. The rest of her life, she was a devoted mother to her children, grandchildren and countless others she held in her heart.

Christina loved cooking, music and travel, having travelled most of the world and especially spending summers in Greece. Her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren and her countless Godchildren. Her special loves were babies, the nieces and nephews she helped raise and nurture into adulthood. Aunt “Teenie” was a loving second mother to so many. Christina generously gave many of her loved ones their first experiences, travel, concerts and many priceless memories.

She is survived by her mother Florence Cotopolis, son William Dub Sklavenitis (Staci) of Canton, three grandchildren Alexandria, Christian, and Keaton, daughter Artemis Nikolaou (Dino) also of Canton.
